i need help

ok i have a 2003 protege 5 and i replaced the front and read speakers and amped then. now i need help to stop the engine noise coming from the speakers i dont know why that is happening. i rev the engine and the noise sounds like my speakers are reving but with a high ringing noise. please if anyone knows how to stop it please let me know ASAP thank

I am in no means a pro with Audio but I believe your problem would be that either the radio or amp is not grounded properly.

Have you changed the radio? - If yes - do not use the stock grounding wire ground it directly to the frame.

Have you connected the AMP to all four speakers? If yes - Make sure the amp is grounded correctly.

As I said I am not a pro when it comes to audio but that should (I hope) help

definately a bad ground. try moving it to a better spot or using some sandpaper around where the ground wire connects. it needs to be connected to bare metal. I used the bolt that secures the rear of the back seat to the chassis in the mazda, and the bolt for the drivers seat sliders in the maxima.
