VRM is a Multi-Stage color.. meaning instead of Primer, Base, Clear...

its Primer, Base, Pearl, Clear....

and blending pearls takes quite the skill and time... hence the higher rates

Yup, when I was rear-ended they had to paint my car twice. I didn't see the first job but the guy I delt with at the shop took one look in the daylight and sent it back to be painted again.

They are fixing the trunk too as well as a few minor areas with some scratches.

I should have it back later today or tomorrow.

If it makes you feel any better, I did extensive work to that car when Travis owned it down here in Louisiana. The parts are top notch and I paid a ton of attention to detail on it.
Hope that MSM is treating you well... we miss her down here!

Wow... I didn't expect this thread to get resurrected, but yes the car is treating me very well! I have had no issues since day one and the car is a complete blast to drive.

No problem. I possibly have some pictures somewhere on my hard drive from some of the installs, tuning, and so forth.

And for what its worth, the 200whp came on a dyno thats calibration was found to be off a few weeks after that tune. Its more like 220whp Sorry about the glovebox, I broke it When installing the Hydra, one of the clips broke off.
You should look into a bigger turbo, you already have the fuel system and EMS in place to run it

Bah... Yeah... I have a new glovebox in place, but Travis never got back to me about getting the original lock for it... Among other things.

To be honest, the car is exactly where I want it to be and I probably won't change a thing.

Update.

Took the car in to get some maintenance done. I don't have a Mark's House to do it at nor do I have the time. I dropped the car off to Shadow102 at his shop and from the list he just PM'd me about, I'm a happy guy! He fixed some issues I was looking to get fixed and even found some I didn't notice.

I'll definitely be ready for The Mitty now.
