I finally did it too!!

that's wild! (confused) these are the mazdaspeed ones?

Yup. I will call today but they are just over a year old so I think I fubared.

Will see if I can get the rears rebuilt, if not it's another set from another brand.

Past 2 days sucked. Was changing the tranny oil and filter in my wifes car on Tuesday nite, twisted my ankle, still sore, wife got pissed at me after I complained about the kitchen, still limping on my ankle and she isn't talking to me and now the shocks.

Got to do more work on my wife's car tonite, fuel filter and pcv. Got a TV in the garage, may stay there for the nite. Got an 11 hour drive with her on Friday. SHould be interesting if we haven't made up by then.

Does BC make coilovers for the miata? I hear nothing but good things about the set for the speed3. Though not sure if I would ever need them, I am tempted to get them..

Took a look. nothing for the 06-08. They make for 90-06 which I'm sure does not really mean the new NC's.

Apprently Eibach will rebuild them for a price. Trying to find that out now.

(yes)

Well, SOme great news.

Called Eibach and they said send them in and they will rebuild them for free. Apparently the backs have seal issues. There is a new deisgn and he says he can turn them around in a day. So wil spend the day tomorrow pulling them out and getting them shipped to Eibach. Hopefully will get them back when I return from vacation.

That's awesome and good customer service!

well, i pulled off the rears this morning. Boxed them up and shipped them out. Mia is high and dry till the shocks come back. Hoping to get them back in time for next weekend.

Talked to the tech at Eibach today. He had already overhauled the shocks, new larger shafts, seals, and he put new springs on as well. Hoping to get them back in a day or so. Very pumped.

On another note I noticed that the rear exhaust coupling is leaking. Gasket has split. Soaking the bolts but may have to cut them off.

Good news on the coilovers Bruce and sorry to hear about the exhaust.

Maybe she's mad at you because you don't drive her as much?

Or not. Called Eibach and got the tracking number, won't be in till Tuesday next week. Doh!!

Ah, just toss in the stockers and adjust the front to equal the height. ;)

LOL, I actually thought of that but would've thrown the whole alignment out and not sure what the handling would've been like. Totally different spring rates. Oh well. Tuesday is not that far off. SOB.

Well according to UPS the shocks are to be delivered today. I also ordered the AWR soft engine brace from Brian Goodwin. SHould be here next week, sadly not in time for the AutoX this weekend.

Shocks arrived via UPS at 135pm. Rolled out of the garage at 3:50 to head down to Bourne. Car rides very well. No bottoming out. Didn't have time to install the trunk insides, will do that tomorrow. Car turned 36,000

Engine brace apparently arrived today from Goodwin. Won't be able to put it in tonite so hopefully tomorrow. Will post some pics
