I drove a MS6 today & WOW!

So I went up to Freeman Mazda today to talk to the service guy there about getting some exhaust bolts tightend down but they wanted to much money so I will do it myself but they started talking about the new MS6 and said that they had some in. I left and went to the dealer bldg. and asked if I could test one and the sale's guy was more than abliged to let me take a spin so he drove the car off the lot and we pull over down the road and I take the drivers seat. I pull out of the parking lot where we had pulled over to switch seats and I punch it and holy mother of GOD was I impressed that car is a beast and accellerates like no other it litteraly put me back in the seat. The shifting is super smooth and the handling is like nothing I have ever driven. I did notice that alot of the things we wish we had on the MSP the MS6 has its almost like when mazda was building this car they were reading out forums and seeing all the things we wanted. None the less I am in love with the MS6 but I dont see myself parting with my MSP to get one and that is mainly due to the fact that the car is just not in my price range but oh would I love to have one. Mazda really out did them selfs with this car and it paid off because the car is absolutly awesome and beautiful. If you have the money I suggest you get yourself one!

Congrats! I've got my fingers crossed that my dealer's estimate of 2-3 weeks for mine is very conservative and that they'll call like, TOMORROW!

Finally got into some curves!

Took ownership on Thurs and was a little disappointed yesterday when power didn't seem to anything be like it was on the test drive. Turned out to be the dealership giving me a tankful of 87 octane gas. Put 1/2 tank of 93 in and things are much better! (thumb) Then I finally got to go fast in some twisties (ie., no kids in the car). Man, this thing sticks like crazy and goes right where you point it. What can I say, my experience is limited. I had a BMW 320i many years ago, had a Saturn SL2 after that, and then my Altima SE 3.5. I also did a test drive a 3 on the same road I was just on and it had a lot more roll. There may be a lot of cars out there that perform as well as the MS6, but for the money it has to be one of the best! (sun)

You should feel the acceleration in the -10 degree Celcius weather we currently are experiencing in Ottawa...LOL! Turn the DSC off and stomp it! I love it!!!! (thumb)

A week and a half later.... It is still sitting on the dock in Port Newark, NJ. (argh)

We have 11 now at my dealership. We had 15 but sold 4 in 2 weeks. We are the only Mazdaspeed dealership within a 120miles so I think they will sell fairly quickly even though it is winter time.

I kinda wish I didn't need a truck because I would def. own one.
