I couldn't do it!

Awesome!!

Ok, so WRX invoice is what, $23K, and you were getting $14K for trade in?

So that basically means that you were about to spend an extra $9K to get the Subby?

Since you were planning on spending that money anyway, you just gave yourself the green light to spend $9K on mods for your MSP!!! (thumb)

LOL I wish! That $9K would have been spread out over 60 months! But that means I do have another $150 a month to spend on mods :)

did you take a look at the sti? or did you not even bother cuz i know i couldnt afford one!

The zoom zoom wins! Great to hear. Aside from the lower price, the MSP is such a great buy for so many reasons.

EVERYBODY knows what a WRX is but one of my favorite parts of the msp is when people ask
, What car is that?
it's a mazda protege.
Wow! you must have put a lot of time and effort into that.
Actually it came like that.
Really? even with those wheels?
Yup, and check out my stock radio and subwoofer.

By then the average shmoe is speechless. Which, by the way, makes owning a MSP.....PRICELESS. I've had that exact conversation over a dozen times. :D
I have too, except I don't brag about the POS 8" sub, lol

Instead i show them my 12" HX2 powers (yippy)

lol ya my stock sub blew after a few months anyways so i just had to get an 10" audiobahn

YES! I've never been so happy to lose a chance to buy a set of snow tires and wheels!! You made the right choice, mang!

I know how you feel Jersey, I have been seriously considering getting an STI or an EVO and I just can't do it. I think I am going to buy a P5 as my second car and when I take my turbo kit off my MSP I am going to put it on the P5 then :)

Awesome! Glad to see you keep the Speed! I have been close to selling mine a couple of times, but backed off and decided to keep it for good.

I like the MSP better than the EVO or STI. I will make it as powerful as the STI. I just don't like the ricer STI spoiler. I fell in love with the look of the 03 MSPs (Black), and when I wrecked my first I didn't even think twice about buying another one. I really don't even like the 03.5 design as much as the 03. I will keep this as a project car even after I get another daily driver when I get commissioned.

gee after like ten threads about you possibly selling, selling, selling x2, looking at the WRX, i would have never guessed that you wouldnt go through with it.

great news, let the modding begin! What do you have planned?

Current mods are injen, hardpipes, and GReddy type-S. Near future includes SMIC and AWR A/T motor mounts (F+R). Short term includes CO2 sprayer for SMIC, and custom 2.5" turboback, long term (once my warranty is up, it's already over 1/2 done and the car's only a year old) are possibly MPI tuner and GT28RS

s*** Justin! Congratulations eL PresidentE!!! I was already getting all pissy that people are leaving, and then Im like OH s***! WOOHOO YEEEHAAWW. (rofl) Man, MSP love eh?

P.S. Your Mazda Owns You!

Yay! ...good thing you listened to that little voice in your head. Otherwise you may be paying $150 more per month with a car you wouldn't like nearly as much.
