prelude is a bit heavy....

and you guys are looking purely at the HP and torque.

The tires the cars have on also make a difference.

so to me its a drivers race.

and the prelude has NO low end, my best has one. Its fast after you hit second. But from 0-50km/h my s*** box is head to head with the prelude

I love preludes. I driven both the MSP and Prelude. It's safe to say a Lude will beat a stock MSP.

my friend's 99 w/ intake and catback ran a 15.1 and it was his first time going to the track ever, cutting 2.3/2.4 60's. they are a bit heavier than the msp, so the hp difference isn't a big thing. just don't go expecting to walk all over it in the mighty msp because it's just a honda and mazda is superior

Sounds about right. A 5spd lude will be low 15's with a very few in the high 14's stock. The previous generation are supposed to be a little quicker due to weight as well...
