HyperTech Tune Users: Please Check In!

I last talked to someone a week ago about it but the problem has been longer than that. Msms3: I had my ebrake engaged during install and had everything unplugged and turned off.

Try updating your tuner today, I got a call saying my updates were ready to install.

I'm suggesting a clean start. Go and undelete the program on your computer, then re-install from the CD, then update all before connecting the HT. I had that problem when I first got the HT, too. It was a glitch in the initial install from the CD to my laptop. After deleting, re-installing and updating on the laptop, then everything went just as smooth as silk.

I deleted and re-installed multiple times. I dont know if it would help if i was to restart the comp once i deleted it and then re-installed the newest version.

If a clean reinstall from the CD after full delete, followed by then updating is not working, then yeah, you need HT's tech support.

Thanks to uthemang31 for the heads up on the update, hypertech never called me about it. I updated yesterday and installed. My fuel trims are now where they need to be. I removed the 0-60 and bumped the idle up 200, no real reason other than to check it out. I only did one quick pull last night and brought it back. During normal accelerating it felt a lot better, much more responsive. Also seems the spool up time is faster. When i went WOT in 2nd and then into 3rd in felt solid all the way through the powerband. Powershifting into 3rd kept the tires spinning more than usual so i can see a difference. Overrall Im happy.

Happy to hear the issue was resolved!

i just got mine, had the same issue, reading it needed an update, i did the update and then the install worked, one problem though, when i tried it i didnt feel any difference in performance and in 3rd gear i had a fuel cut. my mods are cobb sri and resonator and cat delete. before the ht i did notice high boost spikes because of the deleted cat, also before the ht i believe it had a fuel cut, it was also reading P0234 ( engine over boost condition ) before the tune. Isn't the ht supposed to sort out this issue? and like i said, i didnt feel any power difference. i would greatly appreciate any help.

I had fuel cut and the same code before the ht. It wasnt very often tho, maybe 2-3 times. Ive yet to have it happen with the ht but when i first got on it with the ht i didnt really feel a difference. I did a 3rd gear pull today and i noticed a big difference from before, i dont know why i noticed it a little later but i do no.

i guess im just going to give it time and see if i feel the difference. i reflashed it and did another run and this time didnt fuel cut.
