Hypertech Max Energy Sport CAI Update Now Available!

That really sounds great! I'm using the corksport setting right now for my Cobb sri witch is better responding than the cp-e nano setting, at least for my version of the tune. Can you elaborate on the holding boost issue?

Since I'm running with Cobb I'm very interested in the upgraded tune... As stated before, my car is running great, significantly faster and quite a bit stronger...but everything can always be better...

Well I pulled the trigger on one of these yesterday. Will post my impressions when I get it installed.

Boost went back to stock after 3 days or so. So I was seeing 20PSI( SPIKE) An holding 18PSI( Which am back to now). No real issue Chris said there was a glitch or something with my tuners run file.

Same with me. The car runs perfect now! Really quick and strong, but it took a couple of days to get there... but it's so worth it!(rockon)

Nice glad to hear. Had another guy try me on Sunday.. 09 STS V8. Opps he was not happy :)

My Hypertech impressions / issues

I Had it installed for 75 miles, or so. The change with the tune is really noticeable in 1st & 2nd gears, and very nice in the rest. You know that feeling you have that 1st & 2nd run out of steam very quickly - Gone !!
Car pulls very hard right up to 6k. I went passed that a couple of times, and it keeps pulling better than stock, but I prefer to shift there. the overall throttle response is greatly improved. which makes my next paragraph really irritating !!!

Now for the not so good news. Threw a P2188 dtc on the way home tonight. First code I've ever had on the car. Searched the forums, and found to rich at idle. Go out to the car start it up, and change my DH over to ltft & -17 -19 at idle. Remove the flash & drive around for 20 minutes, or so, and right back to -7 where it was before. I have the K&N Typhoon. It looks like there might be some kind of maf calibration issue maybe. Anyone else running this intake with the Hypertech ?

Mods are K&N Typhoon - Magnaflow CBE

I don't think anyone is running the K&N Typhoon. Email Chris at Hypertech and let him know what is going on.

might wanna direct this to hypertech

unless you have a dirty maf,.... all of a sudden

On my list of things to do today. Just wanted to have the drive in this morning to make sure everything was back to normal after removing the tune.

how did the tune remove go?

I still stress, (but less so) about my warranty going into the little white box

Remove went fine, and my trims are back to what they were. I pm'd Chris, and am going to to a reflash & see what happens to my trims, to see if I can repeat the issue.

think I am seeing 7, but don't hold me to that

My intake is unique ;-)..... but, on the road, IAT=AAT and now even sitting at a light iat is never more than +8

gotta run for aquarium stuff, and will change log params per hugador

I wonder if ltft can be tweaked by telling the HT a different intake ?
