Looking at the Diamond website, they have all their subs rated at RMS power levels, so my gut says that yours is dual 2ohm voice coil capable of handling 500w RMS.

In that case You could get the MA amp and wire it up so you have a 4ohm load and run 400w RMS.

I don't usually advocate buying things from non-authorized dealers in the case you might need service for it, but a JL Audio 500/1 amp would be PERFECT for you. And you can pick up a used one or a new one on Ebay for a decent price, but the downside is you won't have a warranty.

I'm actually watching a 500/1 right now. If it doesn't go above 350 or so, I'm gonna jump on it.

No problem, if you need help figuring out how to wire the sub up, I'll give you a hand.

Let me know if you get the 500/1. IMHO it's really the best amp for the money.

At 55 seconds left on the 500/1 auction, the price was 322. I bid $350 and my DSL died. I swear there's forces conspiring against me. I've been trying to get my sub set back up since Laguna Seca.

Wow, deja vu, I just saw the same link on another (non-Mazda) board. I wonder if that Mini was a white lightning.

anybody know a good body shop in the san jose area?
my friend got into an accident and she's going to need a new passenger door for her integra.

thanks for any info guys.
