Hum IC spray question? can I use fire extinguisher?

Haha guys I been think, some of us use IC spray to cool the IC when its hot. Can we use fire extinguisher???
I remember last time I used a fire extinguisher on plastic bag, the thing is cold!!! I think its will cool the IC way way faster!!.
I can keep a fire extinguisher in side the car, connect a Vac hose to the from bumper and use it as IC spray.
But here comes some question, would this does any damage to the IC? or to the car?

Well I don't see why not. You are referring to co2spray right? The only problem I could see is the end caps cracking from the expasion of the intercooler as it keeps changing temp but I haven't heard of this happening to anyone yet. GOOD LUCK.

you could just rig up a co2 tank to a dump valve with a coil in the front

could prob make one for less than 50 bucks

Hmmmm interesting... I always keep an extinguisher in the trunk (just in case) might be a good use for it.. Hell it's been sittin there for 2 years now without doing anything...
