Granted that sucks.. jred321, but I am assuming this guy didn't light is car on fire on purpose or make a deliberate choice to damage your car and ignore it. More than likely, it was an accident that couldn't have been prevented.
Did they ignore it or let you know? If they did ignore it... well add another total ass to the world.

i've been in your shoes too though not as bad. i used to drive in a commuter lot and had a nice few door dings in my past 2 cars and also one time came back to a crease in the rear quarter of my MSP and dirt rubbing from the side of a tire where someone clearly backed their SUV into my car and didn't feel a need to stop. accidents happen and that's what insurance is for. it sucks but good people have to pay for assholes' actions
