How would I install an amp?

I need help on how to install an amp with the stock radio. I got to 10"s and I dont want to go to BESTBUY and pay $200.

you need to get a thing to bridge the sound from the rear speakers. im not sure what its called but most car audio places have them. its so you dont need the outputs.

you'll need a line output converter, wire it into the speaker leads at the deck. You'll then need to wire your remote turn on into the accy turn on for the factory deck and fuse it. Then run your amp kit (rca's, power wire, ground wire etc like normal).

I'm an MECP installer at best buy and with our current prices, what i'd charge would be 90 labor and 15 for loc and then the price of the amp kit.

Personally well worth it and way under $200 plus you get a lifetime warranty on the labor. Anything goes wrong, you're covered.

I can't speak for other install bays, cause some can be shady. But if they have you pay 200 they're ripping you off.

if the amp has a high-level input you could use that to tap into the speaker wires.
