I have a 97 Miata with a blown out bulb in the speedo/tach cluster. Is there a simple and straight forward way to pull this unit out without having to disembowel the entire dashboard? Thanks for your anticipated response.

remove steering column cover via screws underneath.

pry and pull off the gauge cluster hood. Try not to break s***.

pull off the electrical connectors.

Thanks fitftw, I will give that a try. Breaking s..t is usually what happens so I will be very very cautious on this project. I'll let you know how this works out.
