Here's the pictures as promised. I did not take these during the installation; I took them today, so the directions may not be complete or in the right order. Here goes...
Take off these screws...
Then these three...
Then pull the entire thing out. From here you need to take off a few more pieces to get to the actual cluster. It is very simple. You will probably have to pull out the 3 wiring harnesses and move the cluster to somewhere more easily accessible like a table. Once you've managed to put the gauge faces on w/o taking off the needles and connected all the wires that came w/ the gauges, proceed to next step.
Pull out the very far right harness (the larges), and the two wires you will need to cut are circled here. If you do not have any wiring/electrical experience, have someone else do it.
Since there is no on/off switch for the gauges, you might want to buy a switch from Radio Shack that will turn off the gauges when you don't want them on. You will need to wire these up with ground wire, otherwise the gauges will get power from another wire in the harness.
Mount the dimmer/color change switch wherever you want; I chose the space next to the stock dimmer switch.
Put back everything in reverse order. Double check that everything works. Here's my completed setup.
I am not liable or held responsible for any damage caused by these instructions!
UPDATE:
After all this time I realized there's one slight problem with my instructions. The power wire is live all the time, so even when the key is out your indiglos will still be on if you follow the directions as I said.
What you should do is instead of tapping ground from the circled black wire, tap it from another source. I found that the metal bar behind/above the gauge cluster is an excellent source for a ground. This way you can still tap the power wire, and still be able to turn the gauges on/off with a switch wired up to the ground wire.

If you want to wire up your gauges so they come on when you turn on your headlights, disregard the above wiring procedure and do this.
Wire the power wire to the
green-black wire in the harness. This wire only has power when the headlights are on.
Wire the ground wire to the metal bar behind the cluster. This is an excellent grounding point.
