How many stock sub's have you gone through?

i had a JL 8w3v0 and it sounds awesome better than the stock one and i usually listen between 20- 25 i can tell you to get that sub its awesome

had one, never blew, the cone just separated from the surrounding foam, and i'd had enough already. i replaced it about 1 1/2 weeks ago w/ the jl 8w3v2d4 and im loving it. BUT, the stock enclosure, IMO, doesnt produce bass the way it should sound... i mean it does sound good, but its not optimal. thats why im building a fiberglass enclosure, thanks to the advice of sport_20 and elemental, and it should sound better AND free up some needed trunk space.

yikes maybe I was hard on the damn thing, I usually listen to it at around 20-30. I can't hear s*** unless it's that high on the highway, and that's with the "recommended" settings

im getting my second replacement tomorrow
