My touch-up paint came today. I was waaaay too excited. But I do love getting unexpected presents, no matter how small.

Does it usually take 4 months?

It took about that long for me to get my touch-up paint from Mazda for my 3.

I don't think we ever got one for our 5... I'll have to check with the wife.

Make sure it matches! I have Whitewater Pearl and I ended up with a free bottle of some kind of silver paint.
Thanks Mazda

WOOOHOOO! I can post now, after waiting 3 weeks. I guess the mods want to make sure I really was interested.

So I get T/U paint for free?
Do I have to ask the dealer or anything?

Nope it just showed up in the mail along with a wallet card with the dealership's service center info. I got my 5 in late Feb. so it's been awhile.

Congrats on your new 5 :)

I received mine last week. Very cool and thoughtful and also saves me as I was about to go to the dealer and pick one up.

We get touch-up paint? Nobody told me that when we got the car...

We've had it almost 2 months and 2800 miles. Just did the first service (had to bring it in anyway because the check engine light was on... the wife didn't tighten the gas cap... and apparently the light doesn't auto-reset once you fix the problem).

Yeah, we just got the touch-up paint, too! It's been since Feb/Mar I think and over 7,000 miles since we got the car, but it was really cool to get it. Sadly, we need it already.

In canada we get touch-up paint when we need it.... seems to freeze in glove box in the winter EH!
