Ok I cropped some tails that I found on ebay onto my spicy to see if they would look good before I actually bought them. What you guys think?

There's some truth to this. So often, we perceive having something new/different automatically makes it better. Psychologically, it feels that way (at first) simply because of the newness factor. Take that out of the equation, however, and it's often a different story.

Having gone through 2 different tails, I've gone back to the stock. If I had a black MSP, I might have stuck with my Euro APCs. The red probably contrasts nicely. With our orange cars, however, the color almost seems to blend with the color of the car... which I think looks pretty sweet.

They're also higher quality... hate how you can see the freakin bulbs in the aftermarket ones.

They look ugly. Dark tails on a light colored car look completely out of place. If you're dead set on new tail lights, these look pretty nice on a light colored msp.

A word of warning on ebay tails, one of the lenses on mine separated from the body of the light and flew off on the highway. (boom03)

I guess I'm the only one who likes them, lol. Its your car man, if YOU like it, keep em on thats all that matters.

Chicago guy? Take a look at the IL forum to meet the locals..

And no to the tails.

I was going to put those on my Laser blue msp, but decided not to. Might just go with red overlays. Did you consider that?

I wasn't too sure about them either. I saw them on ebay and was thinking they would give it a more aggresive look, but I don't think it does. I havn't seen any spicy's with aftermarket tails, so I figured I'd crop some on. I guess I can see why everyone is running stocks.

If you do buy them... I would do atleast one of two things.

1) Powdercoat/Paint the inside professionally the same color as the car.
-leave the plastic clear or get it tinted a small degree.

2) Leave it the way it is
-Tint it 35% to 50%
