Houston MS6

Proud new owner of a 2006 Silver Mazdaspeed6. Bought it with 33k miles and have put 1k on her so far.

Any other Houston Mazda6 people here?

I've got a lot planned for this car, just gotta think of what to do first. I came from a 1999 Toyota Solara...even with the V6 the car just didn't have a lot of potential. I did like it though, I had it for a while and knew it inside and out...

Anyway, I like my new car even more

To do: Intake, BOV, Exhaust (I still don't know what Mazda's exhaust pipe doesn't really take up that oval shape in the rear), window tint, audio (new headunit, component speakers, etc.), FMIC? + anything else to get all the plastic out from under the hood.

ull want to get a bpv or run a bov in recirc mode.. also rear motor mount is a must! i also really like the shifter bushings.. cleans up the sloppy shifting.

Yeah, I see plenty of Mazda6s as just regular family sedans...Only saw one other Speed6 months ago before I was even looking for a new car.

Honestly though, maybe it's vain of me but I like the fact that there isn't too many out there

...of course, we do get screwed in aftermarket parts compared to other cars...

The thing that upsets me is I never noticed Mazda 6's before, now I do and most of the ones around Houston have chicks driving them. I like having a sleeper but I wonder if the people who don't know what it is think we are driving chick cars...lol.


Yea there aren't too many mods but for the 1st time I think I'm gonna leave this car the way it is. Tired of having cars that people wanna steal or break into.

BTW I still haven't seen one on the road.

I got it in November. It's the Black Cherry Mica that was at Planet Ford in Humble.

This is the car that they accidentally advertised the wrong price on Autotrader, and I showed up right away and bought the car. Yep, I was that guy that got the deal!!!

2006 MS6 with 20K miles only $14,700....they had people calling from all over Texas trying to get that car after I bought it. And the car is clean as a whistle.

lol funny as hell, i just bought my ms6 a month ago traded in my 07 wrx for it and it only has 23k miles on it, its bit of a difference from the suby in terms of power to weight but i love the car and being 6 speed and turbo awd with lots of room inside you cant go wrong, only wish peformance parts where abundent as they are for wrx,evos,and mazda 3. also welcome to the forum.
