Hood protector

Is anyone else having an issue with the OEM hood deflector not sticking?

I have installed one on which the ends pulled up, and now I've had the dealer install one in which the ends are pulling up.

Not running the car through a car wash, and have not gotten near it with a buffer...

I have had no issues with mine, and I do car washes. I did use 3M primer. Did you or your dealer use the special 3M primer?

Mine was dealer installed over 2 years ago and it's been fine.

I installed mine and have zero issues. Over a year installed.

Had mine on for 2 years then started to separate from the hood. Took me 2 hours and a lot of WD-40 to get it and all the double-sided tape off. There was actually a part of it digging into the paint. Wouldn't recommend another one.

Mine has been great for 2 years. No problems.

Same here. I decided to take it off after two years though I can say that it worked ok in protecting the hood.
