Honda.......Those bastards (SI dyno'd)

OK, I'm a little frustrated. Ok, not really, but this is interesting. Grassroots Motorsports got their hands on a project 2002 SI and got Comptech to throw some stuff on it. The results are.....

Baseline: 143whp
After Exhaust: 147whp
After Prototype Header & Intake: 154whp

I know they're not huge gains, but this is another slap in the face to us Protege owners by the rest of the aftermarket industry. OK, I know that was taking it a little far, but you guys know what I mean. The Protege keeps getting ignored. Not cool.... We should all know by now that parts exist and are being produced for the Protege, but where the hell are they? Aside from Injen and Skunk it still feels like there isn't that much out there. What do you guys think?

Oh, I also just found out that Pectel just released an application for the Ford Focus. WTF? We need some plug and play engine management too. Ah, oh well. I guess it's the way the cookie crumbles.

The Pectel has been out for us for over a year now. I think that there will be a little more out there aftermarket wise for you guys. I talked with a rep fron Mazda at IAS this past weekend and there is an aggressive push towards the youth market coming for Mazda.
