I think you're confused. Ricers care about how fast a car LOOKS...

As far as caring more about how fast a car feels vs how fast it actually is... what can I say? When I drive my car fast, it's not to beat the guy next to me down the street or around a track... it's for the visceral feel of speed. When I'm in my own little world behind the wheel, does anything else really matter?
