high visc motor oil

Has anyone had experience with higher viscosity motor oils in the 2? I only had 3 qts of 0w-20 at my last oil change and used some 0w-40 I had laying around to top it off. I figured with it being the summer it wouldn't hurt, but I'm curious as to what results others have found going to higher visc.

Its spec'd for 5w30 and 5w40 in other countries, you'll be fine.

My UOAs show no problems with 0W20 in autocross + DD conditions so I have no need to switch. May try a 0W30 for an upcoming track event though to keep viscosity reasonable under extended high temps.

Its spec'd for 5w30 and 5w40 in other countries, you'll be fine.
