Hid

Mazdaspeed3
i found some for like 130 or so but im not sure the kind... i think the speed3 takes the h7. also i know the 3000k is yellow on the ground and the 5000k meets stock look damn near exact. does anyone have any suggestions on the heat preference. i like the stock look but also like the yellow...if its not bright ass yellow. maybe someone has some installed i could check out. thanks

4100k-4300k offer the highest lumen output and will be the closest to pure white light you can get. 3000k will be very yellow and will have a lower output. 3's with stock halogens use h7 bulbs.

i'm running 6000k 35w Apexcone
H7 low beam and 9005 Hi Beam
I can see the reflective road marker things like a 1/4 mile down the road.

Go for 41/4300k, as that's what all US cars come with from the factory. Make sure they're properly rebased.

Philips electronics + Philips capsules ONLY. Sylvania/OSRAM capsules are fine too. Anything else will probably be some bad knock-off that breaks in a year.

thanks....ill let yall know what i get and get some pics when i get them. i just had to buy a baby chair...car seat...stroller thingy for my godson. dude let me tell you...it was either that or the HID's. the woman b**** slapped me for double thinking it. lol.

HID is a safety item in my opinion, so spending a bit on it is worth it. The difference is amazing.

thanks for the awesome pics. i def do not want those 3000k for my fogs. those are to yellow for my liking. im going to fit the fogs with the stock low beam range for sure. that s*** crazy bright tho. sweeeeeeeet!

If our stock xenon's are 4100-4300k and that's what most have, why is it that I think some cars burn hotter? Saab 9-3's look really purple so they must be up near 6000k.

Any thoughts on this?

some of the projectors look like the glass has been tinted as well...like the first thing i noticed on the evos was that when i looked closely at the headlights (when they were off) the glass seemed a bit turqoise.

plus...because of the way the projection housing works, the cut-off of the beam of light has a "rainbow" effect, so if your eyes are at the exact level you should be able to see more colors of the spectrum, and not just the color of the bulb. a lot like a prism. that's why when you see one coming towards you at night you can see purple or blue colors

here are some pics against the garage door! my 8000k hid and my brothers 3sedan 8000k dat i just installed today!

I want some 4300k HID's that use phillips bulbs for my 08 MS3 non-GT. someone pm me if you have more info and a good price.
