HiBoost

I received an e-mail from him on 9/16 responding from info@hiboost.com
about a heatshield which he was still supposed to reply back with a firm answer. I have a cell phone number (not sure if it's still good) I wouldn't mind sharing if you send me a PM. His products are top quality and he knows his s*** but getting answers and support is sometimes frustrating.

Waiting for months is just in-excusable!

Juan also spends a lot of time in South America, i've met him too, he's an awesome guy. Another option for you is maybe you can post on the mocc forums (www.moccforums.com) and see if maybe one of our members can swing by hiboost and see what the deal is for you. I would personally do it, but I just had shoulder surgery and I cant drive for a few weeks, I'm typing with one hand right now!

I friend of mine did a test and called about wanting to order a turbo kit. Guess who called him back!!!
Seems Juan wants to be hard to get ahold of when he owes parts.

Thanks all for your help. I sent payment via PayPal so have been in contact with them to see what my options are.

I don't doubt I'll eventually get the kit, but I would like to get it before my car dies of old age. LoL

If it is this hard to get the kit, how hard is it going to be if there is a faulty/missing part... etc. It really shouldn't be this hard to get the product or after sales service, especially if you've forked out over 5k. Most companies would be bending over backwards and striving to keep a good name.

Also, just because he's not in US doesnt mean you can't take legal action against HiBoost Turbo Systems. But I'm not going to go down that road just yet. It depends how things turn out in the next couple of days.

theres no doubt that someone that continues to do business, especially in this field of work, should stand behind their product. I turned to Juans brother (TBK) after having several issues with my order (missing instruction for E6X installation, computer case bolts stripped and brains falling out, mismatching exhaust flange and mounting holes, holes in intake piping in wrong location for wiring harness, etc...). THAT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID!!!! Miguel is the most willing person to help no matter what he is doing. Juan on the other hand is very quick to snap back and trash you the second you even hint at needing help. if you are even thinking of buying a kit, be prepared to go at it ALONE!!!! Or atleast buy it from TBK...

His names Manuel just to clarify. But it's expected things are busy and it's hard to sometimes get everything perfect.

I called Manuel and asked for some info for you MIKE to see what he can do. Maybe get you a cell phone or some other contact info. They are in the process of opening up to new distributors therefore he has been set back. But like I said if you want some contact info PM me and ill try to help you out as best as possible.

Bro, If I were you I would most deff get my money back and find a new toy to spend that money on. Since he has been this hard to get a hold of don't expect any help from him. You will absolutely have to turn to the guys here for advice on some matters and god forbid you have some missing parts when you finally get it

Avarela86: You are absolutely right. I don't know Juan but what I do know is that the bottom line is that he is a bad salseman

i wish i knew this before i bought mine too. but i think you are wrong about Juan. he's a great salesman, just a very bad businessman. i hate to sound so anal, but the real difference is that he knows he is offering a high demand product that would typically cost a Honda owner half as much. If he only knew how much it is screwing him to not get some people together to structure his business properly. Seriously, his brother more than made up for all the crap that has been pulled so far. TBK rocks, and for what its worth, i WOULD buy from them any day.

TBK called me today and i let manuel know to give juan a heads up that people are looking for him

Sad to hear about the trouble.

This is why I decided not to get a full kit and instead put up with the hassle of piecing together a kit. Greater chance of getting ripped off in a small way vs small risk of getting ripped off BIG. Which reminds me... Igdrasil, where's my manifold? Khaosman, where's my MAF?...

Cheers mate, much appreciated! (2thumbs)

I just hope to get my money back and not have to worry about it any longer. It's a shame there are many people with similar problems.

i have been following Juan's work from the day he started selling his kits in the US. He is a stand up guy. You are not losing your money don't worry. Give it some time.

Captain: If anything Juan should be talking to you almost on a daily basis since you help sell his kits

It's just the way he goes about things dissapearing from time to time when he knows full well that people have dropped money on something yet he diaapears. If you ask me he's only hurting himself. There are alot of people that still want to buy his kit because everyone knows it's the s***...does damn good but people don't want to take the risk in ordering something and left to sit for weeks maybe months if they will possibly get something in return. ANd like I said earlier. He so hard to get a hold of god forbid you don't have all the hardware that is suppose to come with it.

I'm not mad i'm just dissapointed in how Juan and that company could be so good and profitable if he would keep in touch with his customers. That going out of town bulls*** is NOT an acceptable excuse

Haha, I was standing next to Manuel when he called you...asking about adj. cam gears right? I love this community....We all work together.

Hey hope the info I sent you MIKE helps out.

I was lucky enough to get my kit in a week but that was when he first started showing up on the forums and was more concerned with drawing in new business.

I agree completely, You need much more than a great product and a top bloke to run a business at it's full potential. I for one am very disappointed.

Hi all,

Just an update. I sent an email to Manuel a few days ago and haven't heard back as of yet and still no word from Juan.

I haven't phoned purely because of time zones (its 2am over in Miami, I live in South Australia).

Unfortunately I'm beyond frustrated and think I need to peruse other means of getting my money back.
Ridiclulous!!!!!!!!!!!! (pissed)

Sorry, just venting!

Mike
