We just got our Brand new car in the shop for the next project. Mazda6 turbo kit.
I decided to post it here since there is no Forced induction forum for the Mazda6 yet.

It's the 4 cylinder. We hope to have the finished product by the end of november. It will go with the E6K or E11 from haltech.

I just can't wait to see it at the dyno.

We got the automatic just to design a kit that will work in both automatics and standard.

I think the car will be sold right after it is turbocharged and probably we will then get one with standard transmission.

You gonna do anything about iginition timing? Is the ECU any more "open" than the protege ECU, or are you not that far into things yet? Keep us updated.

We just got the car last wednesday. We will design the turbo manifold, intercooler piping, intercooler placement and size and after that we will get into the electronics.

After, we will start testing with different turbos. We will probably go with the e6k or even the new E11 from Haltech so we can map for fuel and ignition.

Those are w/ only 2.5L of displacement! The 6 should do better!

sooo how much boost are we gonna be runnin with the 3.0? if the 2.5 is puttin numbers out like that??? also, that looks to be an over sea's car, the side markers, and shifter are different. where is this gonna be developed at?

this is what you need to do: you need make my car the first laser blue p5 to have your kit with a 5spd. ill let you install it in my car, along with a new clutch and flywheel, and i wont make you pay me for advertising. but ill put a decal all the way accross the front of the car

teh 2.5 has a forged crank w/ 4 bolt mains...I dont think the new 6 motor does...something to consider.

Nice...I heard the 2.3 was already a decent motor in the 6. It'll be cool to see how it does turbo.
