yeah it does say hiboost turbo kit. thats because i want one but i wanted to ask a question before i spent that much $$$. and what the hell are u talkin about a free tshirt??

Given that hiboost is the only company with a turbo kit out for the 3 right now this thread seems pointless as all hell. Are you gonna be pissed when you dyno at only 280whp instead of 300whp? If you had to post this thread and didn't do any research then don't turbo your car.

whoa u guys need to settle down! im not bashing juan or his products, ive only heard good things about them. thats why when i heard that i was like no way so i posted on here to see if it was true or if anyone else had heard anything like that. im sorry that you guys are takin this so personally but its not like that at all. isnt this board supposted to be used to answer questions and help people be informed?? well thats what im doin. i wanted to ask a question before i dropped over $4000 on a turbo kit.

i will do a search, he already said in one of those threads that he doesnt uses nitrous on his dyno runs, he said he runs 91 octane combined with 100 octane to have a 93 mix in the tank.

According to Juan. He got high numbers but mentioned a need for forging past 250 WHP. With the new motor, you will just have to try 280-300 WHP. If the engine stays in-tact, congrats... just hope it doesn't take a lot with it if it doesn't! I highly doubt the rods in the 2.3 can handle 280-300 daily.

I just want to add one thing. I understand you wanting to ask the question, but to do it with a I HEARD or SOME ONE SAID will turn everyone on you. I think the right thing to do is to put the guys name out so that Juan can give you the proper feedback. With the videos that were just put out of the 3 doing 140mph on the road I would think the guy you talked to is just trying to start something.
But thats just my .02

if that was the case (juan was using nos on his protoype dyno's) then people who bought his kits would be very unhappy as they wouldnt have the less hp than hiboost advertised.(gtfo)

btw, juan's kit's have been dynoed by a few members here and put down exactly what hiboost claims.
