hesistation after ecu flash?

Does anyone remember my hesitation test? It sounds exactly like what I was writing about: Cruise at 70MPH in 5th. After a steady minute of driving just floor it to 85 MPH. My spicy fell on its face. My blazin' doesn't have any time on the road yet. No problems at all YET. lol

As soon as I got the flash, the hesitation was gone. But now that it's starting to get colder, the problem is starting to come back(especially in 3rd.). It seems that they fixed the problem for the summer months.......now how about Mazda fixing the problem for the whole year!?

I am taking it in on Wednesday, they wanted me to drop it off yesterday, but then I find out the Speed tech is out until Tuesday and won't start on it until then anyways. So I was thinking "you are going to make me drive a Kia or Hyundai for five days?" Screw that. So I still have the Speed right now.

got flashed today and noticed BIG difference on way home......will find out more on way to work tonight and in the coming days

Geeewizzzz People I guess I have not driven mine enough to feel this very much. The longest run I have done is down to Dallas TX and I really didn't notice a thing. Now when I am going slow , whether it be in 1 ,2, 3, 4, or 5th I get I guess what you people are talking about hiccup's , but like it says in the write up's on the MSP { IT AIN'T MADE TO GO SLOW } . And most of you are talking @ a high rpm , damn I hope I don't feel this s*** !

This topic is starting to make me glad Ive been sitting back waiting to do the flash. Wanted to see some long term results.

Mines un touched and it runs great. Yeah, I can feel some hestitation and a flat spot in the power curve, but its not all that bad IMHO. The soot in the pipe does worry me some tho.

Maybe Ive just been lucky so far and havent put enough miles on to have any problems. But at the rate Im going Ill be out of warrantee in about 2 yrs.

In all honesty the more I read here about the MSP and Mazdas inability to fix the problems plus my experience w/ dealerships in general makes me VERY leery to take it in to have anything done.

whatever, u guys are overly dramatic
get it flashed, enjoy it for a few years, then once the worranty runs out, get the AEM standalone. (by theat time it will be available, i hope :D)
the car will run better than new.
