Mazda, 3, speed,
I've just installed my new autotech hpfp internals this past weekend. But I recently heard a popping noise. Could it be the internal?

It could be anything. Chasing noises we cannot hear by remote Internet advice is not very productive. Where is the sound coming from? Don't say "the front," or "the engine bay" or such. Be specific. Try to pin it down. Does it change with rpm or stop at idle? Can you monitor fuel pressure under load? What does it read at WOT at say 4k in third gear? Is it constant, repetive, whst is the rate? That kind of info would be helpful.

It is normal for the fuel pump, stock too, to make a soft clicking sound at idle, if that helps. I can't use "popping" as a clue.

To be honest I have no clue where it's coming from. I know that I can feel it on my feet when it happens. My wot pressure is at 1700 on third gear. So I'm guessing that's not normal. So I might have found what was making that noise. Going to take out fuel pump and have a look at it.
