help!

oh boy the old you are an idiot comeback.

look sleeper3 guy. We all have the same goal of trying to help paylew try to figure out what is wrong with the car. You have your thoughts, which i agree need to be check and i have mine. We are entitled to our guesses. I am sorry that you get defensive when somebody has a differing opinion but again, we are entitled to that luxury. You asked me when the last time i ever heard of a car not running because it didnt have air and i responded with a genuine answer so don't start getting upset about it.

and on a side note, if you have anymore personal comments about me why dont you shoot me a pm so we dont clog up the OPs thread with our disagreement

Fuel supply and spark are more likely than air or compression or a seized motor, and everyone arguing about it knows it, you're just being difficult. Yeash.

Oh geez. I didn't expect so many responses! Thanks guys, lol but it did jump timing by about 20 degrees apparently. We took the head off and now we just have to get it all set back and put back together.

^chain not belt.. and your lucky yours didnt snap and go into the oil pan and into the motor (:

I saw it and I was like, chain? what? I haven't ever had to deal with timing, and the look on my face could probably be summed up as "lol wut?"

No snapped chains or any of that, but one of our genius friends dropped a washer into the block so now we have to drop the oil pan tonight. long night #2 FTL

at least you caught yours beofre it snapped.. snapped chain means new motor lol.. but if your motor did go you could have swapped out your KA for the SR20 (:

im surprised it's a chain, i woulda thought it was a belt...i would think the rubber belts would be easier to skip teeth with than a chain. but i guess if the cam or crank gear teeth are worn down enough it would do it
