Help with code p0720

I posted this over in engine management and tuning, then discovered this sub forum, and thought it was better suited here. I recently acquired a 2010 Mazda 3 2.0 automatic with a fried engine. I installed a used engine and all is well except I have a code p0720-output shaft speed sensor circuit. I found out which sensor it was, followed the harness, checked the connector and found no trouble. I called a local dealer to order the sensor, and was told there are 2 output shaft speed sensors on that car. I can't seem to figure out where the other one is, maybe by an axle? Is there any way to determine which sensor is causing the problem? The check engine light is on constantly, and once I get up to 40-50 km, it does a couple fast shifts and the AT light comes on. Thanks in advance for the help!!

Hi There, I have almost the exact same problem. The engine was fried in my car so it was replaced with a low mileage used one. Shortly afterwards(300 miles) the p0720 code started poping up. Have you solved your problem out yet Johny2sticks? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same code. I was told its one of 2 sensors. However the only way to fix it is to replace both of them.
