help on my rim

does anyone in calgary know where i can get my rim repair, I got a big scratch on my 1.5 month old P5's rim due to the snowy slippery driving yesterday...?:'(

I believe it's called "alberta wheel repair" Just off Mcknight and Edmonton Trail, just west of deerfoot. I'm taking my rim in there soon to be fixed, as they are off now for the winter.If you can't find it, let me know and i'll look into it more. My rim was curbed by a family member, and they quoted just over $100 to fix it to brand new. Not bad in my opinion.

how long it usually takes, and if i have to leave my rim there, what should i be driving with then, spare tire??

Of course, you'll have to leave it there. And driving around on your spare is sketchy anytime, especially with the city seeming to do nothing about this little ice problem we have right now. No steelies with snowtires or anything?

You will probably have to ground your car until the rim is fixed, which should take about a week. Driving your car with the donut is not a good idea...
