[Help] Looking to Paint emblems black

i used 3m tape and i cut small pieces to fit the thicker parts of the letters where it wouldnt show if you were lookin straight on...i tried puttin one on every letter no matter how small i had to cut it....hope that makes sense

that's how i did it too. you have to cut some very small pieces.

The only thing I would do, is de-badge that mazdaspeed3.

i used 3m tape but not the 1/2" its like 7/8" or somethin...it does stick out a bit but id rather use that cuz i also tried that 3m emblem 'glue'/adhesive and it left somekind of...i dunno how to explain...'film', where at a certain angle you can see where it was applied...i used it on the M since that'll always be there but on the mazdaspeed+3 i used tape...you cant tell it sticks out unless your face is in it at an angle

You can get the clear 3m emblem adhesive off. I just put the emblems back on my Audi and used a small screw driver wrapped the tip with a piece of cloth and dip in alcohol and just rub on the edges of the emblem and they come off.

there is such thing as liquid doouble sided tape. you apply it on the back side of the emblem and stick. it's not a permanent glue, works like a charm. |I got it from autozone.

The only thing I would do, is de-badge that mazdaspeed3.

I wanna run clean SOOO BADLY but you need the holes under the M professionally filled and then have the whole hatch painted. I don't have a few hundred dollars to spend on a shaved back, wish I did though.

Part of me wanted to run no badges and pretend like the holes weren't there!! I decided that black badges were a better idea

The Mazdaspeed3 can stay on. It's just the huge mazda emblem that i think needs to go. But spending a few hundred dollars to cover the holes and a paint job might not be worth it. Maybe i'll get use to it or would not care after a few months

Actually, I agree that the mazdaspeed3 is fine, its just the huge M that needs to go
