HELP!!! Eibach install...

He guys, I have my P5 out front with the whole front end apart. I got the struts off and I have the spring compressors on and I cannot figure out how to get that bolt off of the top. It just spins help fast please!

Please tell me you have an air compressor with and impact gun?? The only thing i use is a set of vise-grips. Get an old t-shirt, put it on part of the strut(the shiny silver part) near the top. Slap on the vise-grips, and go to town on that nut with the impact wrench. Try not to scratch the strut. With two people, it's cake.

I just loosened the main nut, before I loosened the 4 top bolts, then I dropped the strut down. Found that out after the first one

If you can't get it, put the strut back up in the car, put a couple top bolts back on, then loosen it and take it back out.

slamprotege5 that is what we ended up doing worked really good. We have to do the back end tomorrow. Thanks guys.

im pretty sure i just stuck and open end wrench agianst the 4 bolts and used a ratchet the other way.

no prob, have any questions about the back just let us know. I just say when the car is up on jack stands doing the back, put a floor jack under the trailing arm, cause when you loosen the rear stuts, the lowering arm will pop down. scared the s*** out of me.
