i work on cars all day in a dealership and i use brake cleaner or carb/choke cleaner for cleaning EVERYTHING, just make sure you take compressed air and blow everything dry to prevent any kind of fire or backfires out the throttle body and things of that nature. Thoes solevents dry really quick in the first place so you dont have much to worry about. But if you do use it to where a lot can run down inside of your engine,be sure to due on oil change before you go out driving again or you could spin a bearing or something. The fact that it is an fuel injection system does not matter. If your wanting to clean behind the throttle plate, try spraying a rag and wippin it off (it wont come off easy), if you spray it into the intake, make sure you dont leave a puddle of cleaner in there.
