Hello? Indiana?

Thanks for the offer, thats cool. I've had some previous experience doing some mods, intakes, exhaust, some interior stuff..I used to own a 01 GTI 1.8T...I just got my MSP and still doing research on it to see what the best parts....what I will probably need help with is installing a boost gauge and eventually an EMS system of some sort once I figure out which one I want.....

Hey all, just found this board.

I drive a Mazda3, but know of two MazdaSpeed Wagons where I work. I see a Yellow and White MS Wagon in the Farm Bureau parking lots and have seen a very nice Silver color MS Wagon with custom wheel on it around town.

FYI there's no such thing as a mazdaspeed wagon, just sedans:). The wagons are P5's. The silver P5 is Stucks, it's nice. My car will be out of this shop here in a couple days, i'm sure you'll see it around the casleton area. Nice blue Mz3 thrash.

Yeah, my bad, didn't know what they were called. Previously owned a Mazda Protege sedan (6 maybe) a few years back before I bought my Silverado. Drove the truck for four years or so until I saw the new 3 hatch and had to have it. :D

Yeah, I've seen that, we talk about it a lot over at mazda3forums dot com.

I'm not really worried about speed in a 1/4 mile. I'll probably start setting the car up for some autocross event.

Next on my list of things to do are:

Magnaflow Exhaust
Eiback Pro Springs
Grill and eyelids
Infiniti Basslink subwoofer
Strut Bars, front and back
Progress Sway Bar

i know you posted in indycarz about autocross. I'd read up a little more before you start adding suspension parts to your car. The mz3 does well in stock trim and is evenly matched and very competitive. But when you add the parts you have listed you'll put your self in a different class with modified cars. My advise is to race your car is stock trim for a season and see how you do, then upgrade if you feel you need to. Know that in stock trim you can run R compound tires on lighter rims that are stock size and stay in the stock class. My car was in D stock but now since i've added the carbon fiber pieces i think i'm in SM, i've yet to go to an event this summer but let me know if you want someone to go the events with. TR

Yeah, agreed. If you mod before racing, you put yourself in a higher class. I mean sometimes you shoot straight up to "unlimited" in solo2 just by putting race tires on. A stock miata is much more competitive than a stock miata with racer tires running against the unlimited class.

Either way i would drive more events stock. Stock class is the class to win it in.

Tx knows what he is talking about

Yeah, but that means hooking back up the original intake and the resonator, hehe. Guess I'll mod away. (laserp5)

ehh, intake shouldnt take more than 30-45 minutes. Do it.

Anyone want to have a mazda meet sometime, there is a miata meet this weekend, could we meet in the other corner of the parking lot or something?

i'm down, i'm actually going to cincytucky for a mazda meet/install day on sat.

i see a black one in broad ripple everyonce in a while...is that you B?

Down here, I might be better off getting a Ford Super Duty or something to try to blend in. (yupnope)

I see quite a few modded miatas. A handful of proteges, especially mp3s and mazdaspeeds being modded. And a dash of rx7s every once in a while. Oh and a couple wagons =)
