Hi all, proud owner of a new-to-me 1999 Mazda Protege 4-door with MT.
So I'm going over it and getting it ready for it's Maryland safety inspection and one thing I've noticed is the J-bar for the inboard side of the battery hold-down is missing. At least I assume it's a J-bar that goes there. It looks like there's some kind of thing for a J-bar to attach to and the usual hole in the top of tie down.
The battery is perfectly fine for normal use, it's just something the inspectors always look at.
Any suggestions? TIA
