im kinda not sure what is under that heat shield where the headers would go...are there like factory headers or what? what would happen if i took that ugly shield off with the hand print on it?

you might burn your hand if you touched the exhaust manifold....

that is all its really there for....to keep you from sticking your meat hook on it. thus the little imprinted hand with the bar through it.....

yeah i was curious if i took it off would it kinda look like I put a header on my car?
and yes it would be hot go figure heh, that is why you leave the car for an hour and a half come back check for heat then take it off heh.

well i started to remove it just now, then realized the hideous rusted piping just wouldnt match my current paint scheme...ill just wait to get the AWR headers.
