Okay, I was replacing the bulb in my low-beam passenger headlight when the little plastic tab that holds the wire detent in place snapped. I know it's a long shot, but does ANYONE have the part number for the whole ring socket or a way to fix this?

Any help?

have you tried calling a dealership? you can also try e-mailing sales@mazdastuff.com, they are a mazda dealer that sells parts online at a discount. they have been very helpful in locating parts.

are you talking about the black ring that plugs into the white connector? if so, they are like 10 bucks from the dealer, i had to get one 2 weeks ago

Okay, lemme try talking this through...

In the steps of removal you have the wiring harness and it's connector to the bulb. Then you've got the rubber seal/grommet. Then there's the wire detent that holds the bulb still. That detent swings on a grey plastic ring that the bulb seats in.

I snapped the tab off of that grey plastic ring. I need a new one.

I'll try Mazdastuff, the dealerships don't sell anything but the entire headlight assembly.
