im thinking about making aftermarket titanium headlight clips.
they will be .3oz lighter, yet still retain the OEM springiness.
i guarantee youll feel the bump in hp.
yeah, either fab up something, check your local junk yard, or new headlight time. Mazda doesn't sell just the clips
It's a little metal wire held on by two screws...
What screws? If memory serves it clips onto plastic extensions of the headlight housing, and when those break off, the clip falls off.
P5 must be different than Mz3, then. My clip is held on by one screw where it pivots and then one screw holds down the little plate that the clip locks behind.
Mine is the same, my clip has come out of the clamp several times, it was a bit difficult to get the clip back in, but i got it in the end.
What is the point in H7 headlights? Got to be the most annoying replacement ever...
