headlight clip help!?!?

so i broke both of them off a while back and im getting some hids installed this sunday but i dont want the hids knocking around anyone know what i could do please?(huh)

you could try an oversize screw to hold the clip in place or maybe fabricate some kind of hold device. Same thing happened to my car and I bought a new headlight from mazda. $200 dollars

im thinking about making aftermarket titanium headlight clips.

they will be .3oz lighter, yet still retain the OEM springiness.

i guarantee youll feel the bump in hp.

What a load of crap. It's a little metal wire held on by two screws... somebody should sell the damn thing!

What screws? If memory serves it clips onto plastic extensions of the headlight housing, and when those break off, the clip falls off.

P5 must be different than Mz3, then. My clip is held on by one screw where it pivots and then one screw holds down the little plate that the clip locks behind.

Mine is the same, my clip has come out of the clamp several times, it was a bit difficult to get the clip back in, but i got it in the end.

What is the point in H7 headlights? Got to be the most annoying replacement ever...

Good luck. I'm amout to upgrade my headlights to HIDs (because I'm sick of replacing the damn bulbs). My only solution so far to get a new clip is to go test drive (or rent) a used '04-'09 Mazda3 and steal the clip.
