yeah, not all channels are broadcasting in HD yet, but it's better than the few channels that were available when hd started...

I feel both will survive. Some say there isn't enough room in the market for 2 technologies and that it will just end like the VCR/Betamax war did. The market has exploded since those days so I feel the market might be big enough to support the two. Since neither side seems willing to budge and they are both backed by powerhouses of the industry, it seems like we may have both of them on the shelf soon enough. In the end, the people will decide.

of course eventually, but that will take time. Now that 1080p is out too, the possibility of having better than the standard-HD today is just that much closer
