2017~2025: Have you experienced auto braking when reversing a CX-5?

Question: for Signature model cx-5, has anyone experienced auto rear braking? I have never experienced this, when backing up near wall or garbage cans behind car when reversing. Please advise what year and model and how this works etc.
i have 2021.5 Signature cx-5 land it has auto reverse braking option, but i have never experienced them and not sure if they even work. Please share your experience.
Thanks

I think he means collision avoidance braking, in reverse.

Obviously, in reverse, the rear parking sensors beep like crazy when they sense something or someone behind the car.

I personally have not however pushed the point and ignored the beeping to keep going in reverse to see if the car brakes automatically.

However, Mazda says:
SCBS-R monitors the vehicle behind you when reversing to assess the likelihood of a collision. If there is a high risk, the system will warn you and brake automatically if needed.

It works on my 2023 Signature. I was backing in my spot without paying attention and my car slammed on the brakes, I unfortunately did this twice and each time the system worked. It worked so well that now I have tire marks on the floor.

In both my CX-3 and my current CX-5, all three with smart City Brake Support Reverse (SCBS R), the car braked when I approached too quickly and got too close to an obstacle at the rear of my car.
If in doubt, you can test it with a cardboard box covered with a blanket.

I know what it's supposed to do, but does anyone's do that is the question. Mine does not do anything.
