hatchback vs sedan

I really like the bright red..but it dont come in the hatchback only the 5 door..hmm..if someone has a pic of that color can u please post it..thank you

sorry, don't have a picture, but would like to add that the "new" red is beautiful---very sparkly! Wish they'd have had that on the P5 !!!

um the lava red only comes on the hatch the darker red fire comes on the sedan so I think you are really confused

I see---I guess I didn't realize there was a hatchback AND a 5 door.
The description that you get of the P% when you give the VIN number calls IT a hatchback.

I saw 2 red sports wagons...one of those "grow on you" type of things I guess(boom01) ...last I checked they all use the same head and tail light housing.....shape wise. the hatch has tinted headlights...does the wagons have them too?

For model year 2004 there are two reds for Mazda6 (USA)- Volcanic Red (solid color) available 5-Door only, and Redfire Metallic (metallic) available Sport Sedan and Sport Wagon only. Mazda3 and RX-8 have one red available - Velocity Red Mica (metallic).

that dude's red 6 is a hatchback, you can tell by the back window, it's closer to the spoiler than a sedan.. it appears as if he removed the rear wiper.

How come the hatchback has rear headrest while the sedan has no rear seat head rest? Any reason why Mazda would choose not to have rear seat head rest in the sedan? The only possible reason I could think of would be visiblity, but I don't think it would make a huge difference.
