sweet install, was it easy (the hard pipes and smic) im doing the same in about a week
It was relatively easy are you doing the maf relocation to? And if you need any pointers just let me know.

Did you cut the cold pipe yourself? Wondering how much to take out for the MAF relocation...

just measure the length of the maf and give it an extra quarter to half an inch clearance :)

yea i cut it, with the couplers the overall length is 8 1/2 and the section i had to cut out was about 4 1/2 inches. You just need to get it in the right spot so your maf can clear the battery and still have enough room for the bov.

I am takin my car to the dyno in a week or so to tune it so we will see how much hp it makes. below is a list of my mods...

su hardpipes
su smic
sri
greddy rs bov
split second afc
corksport exhaust
and i will be running 10 and 12psi pulls

no i dont think im gonna relocate it. What are the benifits of doing that, and will i be okay not relocating it?

you will be ok then if your not running a bov you dont have to relocate. But i would reccomend it. It made a huge difference in how smooth my car was. And also you might want to run a bov because that turkey noise you hear is compressor surge and thats no good. Plus the bov sounds nice.

Well I just installed my Hot pipe and SMIC from SU, and later I'm going to install my BOV and coldpipe, but right now with the Hot pipe and SMIC, I took a test drive and ran the car a little hard and the check engine light came on and the car shut down...So no im worried that something is wrong with the car....does anybody have or had this problem and know the solution to this.

Is everything plugged in where it is supposed to be? Also check and make sure you have no leaks and that all your clamps are tight. If all that is correct let me know a little more detail and i will see what i can come up with.
