just measure the length of the maf and give it an extra quarter to half an inch clearance

yea i cut it, with the couplers the overall length is 8 1/2 and the section i had to cut out was about 4 1/2 inches. You just need to get it in the right spot so your maf can clear the battery and still have enough room for the bov.Earful said:

you will be ok then if your not running a bov you dont have to relocate. But i would reccomend it. It made a huge difference in how smooth my car was. And also you might want to run a bov because that turkey noise you hear is compressor surge and thats no good. Plus the bov sounds nice.elmer1987 said:
Well I just installed my Hot pipe and SMIC from SU, and later I'm going to install my BOV and coldpipe, but right now with the Hot pipe and SMIC, I took a test drive and ran the car a little hard and the check engine light came on and the car shut down...So no im worried that something is wrong with the car....does anybody have or had this problem and know the solution to this.

Is everything plugged in where it is supposed to be? Also check and make sure you have no leaks and that all your clamps are tight. If all that is correct let me know a little more detail and i will see what i can come up with.Myspeed12 said:
