Pay for what you get sorta deal here, Eagle F1's are a LOT better of a tire hence the price difference. I know a lot of people run Hankooks from the price though and don't have reliability issues per say.
Thanks for the input. I'm leaning towards trying out a set as its a good deal right now on them. It remains to be seen how they stack up to the F1s. As long as the wet traction is as good as the dry and they last then I'll be satisfied.
They are good tires, I had two put on the front to replace my old ones, but then one of the Hankooks started leaking and then got a bulge on the outside wall so I had to replace it with a Falken because nobody within an hour from here carried the Hankooks. I like them a lot though, good tread. The Falken I ended up getting has nearly the same tread pattern. If you're able to get a good deal on them I'd say go for it.
Found them for $376.96 shipped. Too good of a deal to pass up with the $50 rebate. For another $100 I can get them mounted & balanced with an alignment. That sure beats spending $690 for another set of Goodyears!
nexen 3000s had to replace the fronts with my spare humhos cause i got ran off the road on saturady popped a tire. damn pedestrians and the cars that avoid them! but the nexens are great and the tread pattern is sexy
FedEx just dropped off my Hankooks. Can't wait to get them mounted up and see how they feel. Based on all the reviews that I read and that they have the same rating as what's on there now, they should not be dissapointing.
