GTSPEC install thread (tons of pictures!!!!!)

looks good. i'll have to fiddle with mine some more, but i have a 3" exhaust custom, and for some reason, it seemed like the angled bar wouldn't fit right, i'll look into it more, hopefully it fits.. or SOMETHING is getting modified.

spacers were not provided. i honestly do not remember if the bolts they supplied were long enough (most likely not). i have tons of extra nuts, bolts, and washers, so i didnt have to make a special trip to the store.

Do you remember how thick your spacers were in order for the rear v-brace to clear the sway bar??

if i had to guess, you need a quarter inch of spacing on each side. i never measured, just found spacers that would work in the garage.

i believe your passenger side bar is installed wrong. i assume that GTSPEC put that bend in the passenger side brace to clear the exhaust. the way you have yours installed, the bend is not utilized.

Hahah it has been couple of years to reply to this particular issue, the reason i have mine installed the way you noticed is to prevent damage to my Exhaust when it rubs or hit to anything on the road, I rather to scratch the GTspec brace than to rub and get a hole on my exhaust. here in SPAIN they dont sell or make 3 exhaust so, now you know the reason why mine is installed that way...

nice thread. I plan on getting these soon. How was it for helping the the torque steer?
