i hope you mean 279 wtq not 179wtq

I own the same ride as you do with lots of stuff done to it as well,my goal is to put as much hp as the t25 can provide so basically I am not changing turbos for a while ...Well at this time my tranny (diff)took a big s*** so I`m fixing it now(fidanza, exidy, new diff)on the way,and after that 3 inch turboback exhst...we`ll see what happens. but the t25 is stying for a while!

I'm putting 271whp and 279wpt with this little Gt25 demon child.. heres my car domain site so you can see all i've have done

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2315771/1 the GT25 have lots of potential

Can you list your mods? I think you have a front mount...right?

Nevermid, im checking your cardomain page. So everything sounds right about you pushing 18psi, it may fall into an inefficient range, dont know yet, but the intercooler is keeping the charge cool enough.

You also running low compression 8.3:1 so if theres any extra heat escaping the intercooler, its good.

yes its the GT28RS bolted on the stock many. I'm not sure how the mani cracked. when we went to installed the GT28RS we noticed it when we took the heat shield off.

i ran 14psi on the stock turbo for about a year on DSMconvert's AFC (split second psc1).

now i'm running the potato at jus a conservative 8psi using a basemap on my Microtech stand alone until i find a good shop to tune my car at.

I think its time u upgraded your turbo & tune mang.....You have quite a bit of work done for u to be pushing only 271whp. Ive seen members pushing almost exactly that on stock block/turbo and not even a 1/4 of your engine mods.

Im in no way putting your car down, but just wondering if u have plans to upgrade??

of course i'm upgrading my turbo. I just ran out of money. I'm getting Big turbo, Hiboost turbo manifold, external wastegate and 3.5" exhaust from TBK Performance which is Hiboost..

Obviously what its holding me from making big numbers is the turbo and teh exhaust.. pretty i'll be in 400whp with the right bolts on..

Mazdaspeed2oo35,

Sounds like the only things that you have left is a tublar exhaust manifold and the 626 intake manifold or a custom intake manifold and custom set of cams. Then it would be time for a bigger snail.

I have the NICK upgraded GT25R and it hits like a little sledge hammer.
I am running about 17PSI with the stock block and I have 113,000 miles now.
It has been ported, polished, ceramic coated and had GT28 guts stuffed inside. The manifold was ported, polished and ceramic coated.
With the 3'' GHL exhaust (among other things) it pulls so viciously that it has killed my 309 ftlb Spec clutch. Hopefully this spring I will install the new 450 ftlb clutch. I don't want to have it slip EVER :)
It has instant thrust and pulls hard all the way to redline.
I love mine.
