Guys, I need help. I purchased the p5 rear strut bar, trunk reinforcement bar, and the linkage bars waaaay back before this gb. I've just now today taken my interior out of the back, and I think I'm missing pieces to my gt spec parts. For the trunk reinforcement bar, all I have is a bar. It has nothing on the ends of it, and I see no obvious place to mount it in. As for the linkage bars, I too do not see how they connect to the reinforcemen bar. The strut bar should be no sweat to put in, but I'm stressing over these other parts. I'm afraid I've had them so long, that it might be a problem getting any extra pieces that might have been left out of my order from EDO performance. You can see in the pictures below I circled what I don't have.
Also, see the attached picture... it shows exactly everything that I received from EDO. Notice the lack of anything on the end of the reinforcement bar. Also, notice the linkage bars (blue ones)... I know it looks like it has those things on both ends, but it's actually both bars just packaged together that way. In actuality, each bar only has one loop thing on it when I think there should be one on each end. Also, I didn't receive anything to mount the reinforcement bar with, or to mount the linkage bar to the reinforcement bar (in ways of screws, etc...). I planed on putting on my tokico hp's, tein s techs, and these parts this weekend, but it looks like now I'll have to hold off on the reinforcement and linkage bars. Please, PLEASE, does anyone have pics of the reinforcement and linkage bars installed on a P5??? We've all seen those shotty pics of the reinforcement bar installed in the MSP, but since it's in a trunk, and whoever took the picture didn't have enough smarts to use a flash, and the fact that it's in a sedan, it really doesn't do any good.
Anyways, please let me know if you have any information that can help me out... and if the answers to my problem happen to be hidden away in some distant far off thread, don't give me gripe about searching... I've been searching for about 2 hours now and have NOT found the sufficient answers. Thank you very much for your help.
