Grinding/Bearing type noise

I am wondering if this is a typical issue or not. I have looked up stuff about protege water pump problems but I couldn't find anything about bearing noises. I have this rough noise that sounds like a grinding or a rough bearing. I have taken off the ps belt and the noise remains. I didn't take off the wp belt because I didn't have the time since the tensioner was seized( I will try another day when I have more time). I took a long screwdriver and put it to me ear and the noise seemed to be the loudest on the timing cover close to the wp pulley.

The noise increases speed with rpm, until the noise of the engine itself drowns it out a little and you cannot notice so much. The car only has 45k on it so wasn't prepared to attempt the timing belt right yet. Is there anything else this could be, like a common issue or something. I will try to get a video or a sound clip to post for you guys to hear if I cannot get the other belt loose soon.

Pull the ac/ ps belt off first if it still makes the noise pull the water pump/alt belt off if it doesn't make the noise it's not either of those

FIXED IT!!!!!!! it was the waterpump bearings. took it all off and there was a green water mark all the way down behind the timing belt.
