GReddy Turbo Timer Help

Alright, so I tried installing my FATT.
Couldn't get the thing to even turn on.

I've searched all over the forums and found many different walkthroughs and instructions...but most of the ones that had pictures were not for a GReddy. The ones that were, had different information about the MSP.

For instance, a written walkthrough that I saw here on the boards says that the 12volt wire from the ignition is black...and so does the wire colors thread (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9965&highlight=turbo+timer+install)

But every other walkthrough says that it's RED!! They all say "2 red, 2 blue, and a blue/black" and you're supposed to find the correct red and blue wires. Well unless I'm doing it incorrectly, the two red wires that are supposed to carry a 12volt charge even when the car is off, DON'T.

I tried combining all of these guides and it didn't work, and now I'm confused.
I've seen the walkthough for the Blitz...I've seen the picture that has the Car and Greddy wire colors, and I've seen lots of written information.

Can somebody help me?

stole this picture from http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37921&page=2 and then added some mspaint :P

this harness is directly under your steering column, just pull the center cover off from the top down, the circled clips will not be there on yours right now but they will be when you are done. if you need to hook up a rpm signal or speed, let me know i can help with that too

Well I already took the column piece off and messed with the wiring a little. The main problem is that I already tried to install it and it didn't seem to power on correctly. I got someone to help me check the two red wires with a voltmeter and they didn't seem to show any knd of charge. So I went online and checked the wire colors, and I noticed the main wire color thread say that the ignition is supposed to be a BLACK wire.

So basically...which is correct?

(Thanks for the extra picture though...I'll use it!)

ignition is black with a white stripe on that harness, its the only one, thus the easiest

edit: that harness has 6 wires coming out of it i think, the blue and red you use are right next to each other, i just followed that picture, and ran my voltmeter, technically you can use ANY 12v constant and 12v accesory in the the car tho, the only thing you need off of that harness really is the ignition.

ps. i just realized i circled the wrong wires for 12v acc and 12 ignition, switch those 2 lol, sorry bout that
